Take a Spin...

... with some Friendly
Rectal Microbicide Advocates!

IRMA is now featuring, for your reading pleasure, five fresh bios of rectal microbicide advocates from around the world (India, Nigeria, Uganda, South Africa and Canada in the new batch) who are, like you, working to advance the research and development of safe, effective and acceptable rectal microbicides.

Now appearing here, in the "Meet IRMA Advocates" section of International Rectal Microbicide Advocates' website.

Be inspired!

I am amazed and proud to be a part of this wonderful advocates group. It's amazing how much we can accomplish and educate each other when we put our minds to it. I just want to take a quick moment to thank you all for the wonderful work you are doing and to say keep up the fight.

Warmly,

You guys are incredible, fearless, and trailblazers. Please keep us the good work challenging taboos and the many obstancles that hurt good science, and thereby, millions of people worldwide at risk for HIV. Doing this work in the U.S. is tough, so I don't know how you do it but I hope you let us know!

It's great to see a group of advocates with varying levels of experience and different vocational backgrounds from around the globe step up and put themselves out there in the discussion about anal sex and rectal microbicides!

I'm a big believer that every voice at the table is critically important and that we all bring important expertise to the table, regardless of our differences.

Welcome onto the IRMA list - delighted to have new voices and new energy join. Its important we know who we are 'talking' to across the virtual table and impressive to realise the experience and insight brought to the table.
