Symposium Focus
The University of California San Francisco - Gladstone Institute of Virology and Immunology Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) and the UCSF Center for AIDS Prevention Studies (CAPS) are pleased to present this symposium, which will highlight the most promising areas of biomedical HIV/AIDS prevention. Presentations will span the spectrum of basic, clinical, translational, behavioral and international HIV/AIDS prevention research. The purpose of this one-day symposium is to create a forum for scientists to exchange the most recent data and ideas concerning biomedical approaches to HIV prevention, including recent findings, adherence, risk compensation, and implementation issues.
